I know this subject has been well covered, but I still got to ask. Last week my brother-in law put together a vest and 3 piece patch, not knowing the possible consequences. I filled him in and spent the week researching the subject. I have also read most the posts on this site. I understand the pride of earning as opposed to buying. During my studies I read that LEO, firefighter and religious patchers are usually not hassled. He is not a member of any group or club, he just wants to show his feelings and beliefs. Does anyone really believe that someone might be offended or disrespected by this patch? He is willing to go to the local club and run this by them if thats what is necessary. He will also remove a rocker if this will really cause problems. Like I said he just wants to show his pride, but he wants to do it right. Any advice from those that really know would be appreciated. Thanks ..Sorry about the size of the pic but I wanted it to be clear..
I'm in a good mood so I'll tell you how it works. First thing he should have done was run it by the local dominit club or the COC, before he put it together. You never said where he lives. Second, since he did not "check into it", if the color of the patch's just happen to be the same color as a local 1% MC, I'm sure they would not be happy no matter what the patch say's. He is showing disrespect by not runing it by them or asking if he could to begin with.
With that being said. If "someone" took offence to him wearing the patches, they probley would not kill, or beat him up on the first conversation about the cut. But if there was a problem, he would be "asked" not to wear it. If that happened, and he continued to display the patches, all bets are off.
You have to be careful out there because it's not a game, and if it were, it's not a game you want to lose.
I never looked at the patch. However if he is not n a club, why does he want to look like he is? second a 3 piece patch is for OUTLAW clubs. why does a christian want to look like an outlaw biker? I might say that yes, a serious club might take offense to some poser out there trying to look like an outlaw biker. I have had one take a knife to a friends throat at a red light for wearing a colorless jean vest. (no patches, just had cut the color off the jacket) like it was stated before, This is not a game

Probably not Kill? Beat him up?
I don't know where yall are from. I'm not a part of any club or any "patch" affiliation. But I can tell you this, I am a grown *** man with a concealed carry permit and no matter what bike I am riding, whether I am in my truck, or what color the clothes that I have on happen to be, if some billy bad *** thinks he is going to commit a felony assault or murder because he is a member of some local organization that supposedly I am supposed to clear it with, he is going to get an answer he doesn't like and its name is .45 acp. And living in a free state in the south, I can tell you I'd be perfectly within my rights to do so.
If any of your friends happen to be conducting this kind of activity, no matter whether it is probabilities or possibilities, you better tell them to watch out. Lots of people without any gang affiliation are carrying these days, and the law is on the side of self defense in overwhelming majority of states, especially those that vote Republican.

Buy you a 3 piece patch and ride around with it on for a while. Just remember, they do not care if they catch you on the road or in a bar. Maybe one night your house accidentaly burns down?... you can shoot them then!

I couldn't have said it better. I have 1% friends and they show me the same respect they show their brothers. And I might add it's probably just for the fact I don't show them any disrespect. I have been asked to go to club "Party's" and I have never gone but tell them with all due respect Hell No! I have no desire to join a club of any kind. They know me well as I used to own a bar that many of them would hang out. I became good friends with a good number of them. I have even had to tell the prospects to chill out or else and they always would shoot a look at the sponsor who would give the nod to do what I told them to do. It was all done because of and out of RESPECT.
Like said above if anyone is going to try to harm me or mine they are going to have to deal with the consequences and I don't care if they are patched or not. if you are so much of a ***** you won't try to defend yourself you shouldn't be wasting the oxygen on this earth.

You show up on my land, you better be prepared for the consequences. I have nice things and a beautiful family and I don't give a damn if I happened to offend someone with something I didn't know I shouldn't have been wearing; if you intend to bring harm to any of mine I'll be on you and whoever you brought with you like the swift hand of God. You'll be holding your bleeding knee caps, choking on your tears and vomit and wishing to the high lord you'd never been stupid enough to bring aggression to the home of a proud southern American male while I put your teeth to the curb like Derek Vinyard. I don't particularly care about patches, nor would I want to wear one whether it be 3 piece, 5 piece, or a 15 piece kit with a matching skirt, bowtie, stalkings, and a garter. I am just saying you start threatening law abiding people's lives over what they happened to be wearing, you better be prepared for the consequences. In Texas you can legally shoot someone who isn't even threatening you if they are committing a property crime on your land after dark. Lots of free states in the south have similar laws. You fellas better look into the laws because criminals don't have so many protections now that the big union labor communist Dimwitcrats are out of office in most states.
