I know this subject has been well covered, but I still got to ask. Last week my brother-in –law put together a vest and 3 piece patch, not knowing the possible consequences. I filled him in and spent the week researching the subject. I have also read most the posts on this site. I understand the pride of earning as opposed to buying. During my studies I read that LEO, firefighter and religious patchers are usually not hassled. He is not a member of any group or club, he just wants to show his feelings and beliefs. Does anyone really believe that someone might be offended or disrespected by this patch? He is willing to go to the local club and run this by them if that’s what is necessary. He will also remove a rocker if this will really cause problems. Like I said he just wants to show his pride, but he wants to do it right. Any advice from those that really know would be appreciated. Thanks……..Sorry about the size of the pic but I wanted it to be clear..
looks good i think the proplem starts when you put MC in the patch .If you still have any worries ask your local Hells Angel Chapter they give you all the gen on patches you need to know

He will most likely be fine. The only thing I can suggest is respect. If he is asked to remove it, just do it. Dont try to be billy bad a!#
I suggest you and he take nothing for granted. Your best shot at getting good info is to have him contact the local COC, let them know what he wants to do, and follow their suggestions. They may ask to see it. If they do, I'd highly recommend he take a drawing of it, not the completed article. That would be a show of disrespect, in my opinion, to have already done the deed and then ask permission. He does not want a confrontation with a dominate club over something that can be remedied from the start. They may reject it based on any number of factors, including just the color of the patches.
