how about stop worrying about how small your pe nis is, and start riding your motorcycle like it was intended to be ridden.
Sounds to me like somebody needs to be educated about "how" a bike is supposed to be ridden. LOL I always thought with lots of motor "upgrades" and mucho time at WOT. Can somebody please enlighten this dude on the fun he is missing?????? LOL
OP is not referring to modifying ones bike or upgrading components. He is referring to the "Upgrade from a Sportster to a Dyna" "Upgrade from a Dyna to a Softail" "Upgrade from a Softail to a Touring". The higher in price you go with HD, the more you "upgraded".
At the local watering hole - I'll look at my bike in the lot with all the other bikes.
Yeah I ride a Sporty and looking at it next to the Dynas, Softtails and Baggers it's still a Harley. I was amazed to see the Softail rider get on his bike, hit the starter and click it in gear and ride off the the same way I do. Bigger, Heavier and more expensive but BETTER ....thats for the rider to determine

Oops! My bad. LOL
But I gotta say, I'm not sure "Softail to Touring" is an upgrade! bwahahaha! (I loved my last 6 Softails and will never ride anything else).
more often than not, i hear "upgrade" spoken in terms of going from a metric to a harley. more often than not, it is spoken by someone who rides neither. i take that for what it's worth.
with regards to "upgrading" from a metric to a harley... i get tired of hearing that as well. at the end of the day, H-D as a company doesnt care about you as a person any more or less than any other company out there; they just want you to buy their product. buy the bike you want. if it's better than what you currently have, congrats, youve upgraded.
personally, i had a natural upgrade progression. started on a 650 savage, upgraded to an 800 intruder. side-stepped to get an sv650. then upgraded to a 1200 nightster. the "upgrades" had more to do with engine size than brand. i view my upgrades as growing / maturing into bigger bikes gradually so i didnt kill myself on a 1500 right out the gate.
