Summer Commuting Jacket

Let me answer some of the questions asked or implied.
First I went with the First Gear because I have a long torso and most of the others including Joe Rocket are short jackets. The only jackets I have found that fit me are from Firstgear, FMC, and Frank Thomas. They are mainly considered touring jackets.
Second, I removed the armor to make it light, flexible and to get as much airflow as possible. I wore armor in my motocross and crotch rocket phase. The padding that remains in the jacket after removing the armor is just fine for me.
There still is enough protection from small flying objects and slow impact bumps and slow skids. Thats just my opinion. The small pieces of armor won't help that much, but I guess you have to way protection against comfort and make your own choice.

ok here I go again the last two days have been the best riding days of the year
about 75 when I leave home so I get to leave my jacket at home
can't understand why anybody would buy a jacket to wear when the weather get good for riding
yes I know it's safer but so is my truck but I only take it when it gets cold or is raining
