Default she is mad

Guys , I purchased a new 2006 FXST and my girl is mad that i dont have a sissy bar on the back for her safety. I want her to be safe and I dont drive like a jerk but I cant find the bar I want . I want a small low unit that blends in with my nice rear fender. All I can find is one that is about 6 or 8 inches high. i like the ones that are real low about 3 or 4 inches off the back of the seat. How can I get this type of bar to make both of us happy or am I stuck with the larger taller unit? Thanks for any help.

I know i can get the removable units but I would really like the permanent low unit.

HD has the real short sissy - barely above the seat. Check out the Genuine Motor Accessories, it's in there.

buy the removable and use it until you find the one you like. Once you find the one you like sell the other one. Meanwhile It will keep her happy and safe and you out of the dog house.

Buy the detachable sissy bar. What is the big deal? Get the taller one it will be more comfortable for your girl. Take it off when you ride solo. Get the short one and your girlfriend will still not be happy.

I agree, the detachable is really cool and takes about 5 seconds to put on and take off. My wife wanted the tall one with a big pad as we will do a lot of riding. So easy to take off and makes her happy and comfortable. what more could I want?

It's the mini-sissy bar on the HD website........but screw that just tell her to hold onto the saddle horn.
