$900 for a ring??? Are you serious? Holy crap. Um, no. I don't need or want one of those. I got a HD t-shirt from every dealership I have visited since I bought my bike. Oh, and guess what's on FX RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! WILD HOGS BABY!!!!!!!!!! And yes, I am watching it.
Great , now I'm a bonehead!! I have to get this biker edicut thing down!! I wear a ring to so now I suppose I'm a bonehead poser!!
I know what you mean.
At first I really thought I was a poser/squid/rub on this site because I sometimes wear fingerless gloves... a helmet... chaps... Harley t-shirts... Harley boots... and watch SOA... But then I realized that I just really really like riding. I ride year round in the heat, cold and rain and I love every minute of it. And when I ride... I really don't care what anyone thinks about the choice I made in clothing or accessories.
So... as for me I would not buy a ring that cost that much. I would much rather customize my own Harley Jacket. I already have one started and will post pics when I can... it is going to be cool. Of course that is my opinion and I am sure when I post it... it will be the start of another wonderful "poser" thread!

Oh, I don't know, considering what I've seen some dealers charge for t-shirts and depending on how many dealers you've visited, it's not beyond belief that you've already spent close to $900 for t-shirts! At least a gold ring will still be worth something a few years down the road. I doubt you can say that for a used t-shirt!

lol i was watching it last nite tooo!!!when they walked into the fuego's bar, I said that's me!!!! lol but in the end peter fonda says it all at least these guys are riding
[quote=rocknrod;5735359]Hey, I'd love to have one. I'm building a new barn and house. I have priorities. A $900 ring isnt one of em. If I wasnt building a new barn and house, road, well, electrical etc.
Yes. I'd buy one.

Hey!! at least it's made in the USA. Where are these rings made.
OMG dont show KRS or Someguy that. They might call you a poser cop
nope, nothing poseurish about a custom ring for your club. you guys still dont seem to understand the difference between that, and your blind obligation to a corporate logo like HD.
the only reason to worship HD the way most of you guys do. is because you feel its some sort of status symbol, to make you look cool. a real biker wouldnt give a *** what brand of bike it was. as long it was a well made bike. ill never understand the goofy obligation people feel to a logo?? and that moronic mentality, is one of the main reasons, i want to sell my bike. because its so hard to find some level headed people to ride with.
but like they say. this is just MY OPINION. so dont get too bent outta shape over anything i say.

I dont give a crap what you ride, wear or what ever. The group of guys I ride with ride Honda, Yamaha, Triumph, Harley. But I dont go around trying to impose my opinion on other people. So what if the guy wants to buy HD ring, HD shirt it his choice.
HD is just a brand, like Fox or Metal Mulisha. I dont think its a status symbol, Its a choice. Thats whats wrong with sociaty today everyone is trying to push THEIR opinion onto everybody else, just like everybody's def. of a "Real Biker" screw that if you ride no matter what brand you ride, if you ride your a "biker"
