Default Bar alignment

I have my third New Harley, this time a Fatboy. Other bikes were a Sportster and then a Dyna.. Maybe I am just cross eyed to a certain extent but I can remember with the two bikes before and now this new Fatboy that brining the bike home from the dealership that the handle bars are not aligned parallel to the trees.. when the bike is going down the road and going straight the bars are pointed to the right a little. I know I can probably loosen the bolts and straighten it out but I am begining to wonder if it is just me. .anyone else see this before on brand new bikes?? dont they align them at the factory????

Warranty. Back to the dealer. Maybe the guy who installs the bars is cross eyed?

Man, mine are exactly the same. Although, sometimes I think the whole front end is pointed to the right, but it's hard to look down while you are going down the road, so I don't know for sure. Also, if you take it in to get it fixed, all they will do is get a big guy and he'll try to bend it in the other direction, but to no avail. At least that's what they did with me. If you get it fixed, make sure you post how so I can fix mine.

The guy at the dealer that did the pre delivery inspection should have aligned the bars...Should have been caught and corrected on the test ride.

Yea I noticed that to, but my right arm is shorter than the left so it fits me fine and it still goes straight down the road.......

as far as i know there is no "aligning" of the bars. my guess is one side of your bars are bent. has your bike ever been down? if it has, i bet they lifted it back upright with the handlebars (big no no).

Mine are the same. Losened all the bolts front axel, fender, lower tree, upper tree, steering nut. Attempted to streighten the bars, tightened everything back up and they were streight for exactly one ride, then crooked again. So if you get yours fixed please post so I'll know they can be fixed. This is my second set of bars. To make them appear streight the dealer adjusted the grips.
