I'm sure there are some here that will remember the same buzz over stuff being made in Japan. Japan overcame the problem by getting better with quality. China will get better with time I'm sure.
China is making stuff for us for two reasons, they ARE cheaper and give better profit when sold in the US. The second reason is trade agreements... Our government has agreed to utilize their labor giving them income potential in trade for limitting things like nuclear weapons. If we don't compromise with our enemies, our security suffers. If we don't share our technology, they will just reverse engineer it and sell it on the black market. Either way, it's going to happen. We all buy less expensive foreign made goods, you can't avoid it.
Well for some reason I just recieved an envelope from HOG and inside was a leather ID,credit card, money clip combo with the HOG emblem embalsed on one side of it. I just thought it was sort of Ironic that the plastic cover it came in had a sticker on it that said: Your guessed it,Made In China.
HOG sent you a buncha crap trinkets. does it really matter where this junk came from? its all landfill fodder.

Well, to be fair...people were speaking Spanish in America long before they were speaking English.
Of course, if we want to be even more realistic, well....no. I won't go there.
