I'm 6'3" and 205 pounds and most XL's come to my waist and to my wrists but seems like it should be a little longer. I want to be able to wear a sweatshit my jacket, but don't like the lood of the sweatshirt sticking out of the bottom of the jacket.
Last winter, I bought a 2XL to get the length I wanted, but it's just way too big in the body.
I'd hate to special order a Tall size without trying it on first.

So how do you guys buy your jackets to fit?
Sweatshit??? That sounds pretty nasty dude.
Seriously though, they have tall sizes at the dealer you can try on. Just dont make the mistake I did and buy your jacket a little big. When your on your bike at about 60 mph it will fill up with air and you will look like the stay puff marshmallow man.

None of the dealers carry tall sizes around here so I'd have to order it and pay for it before trying it on.
I cant hardly believe a big place like San Antone doesnt carry the tall sizes?? Especially this time of year. I buy in Tulsa and they had all sizes just the other day. Did you ask them if they will be getting more in or if you do order and it doesnt fit do you have to take it?
Actually, a motorcycle jacket should only come to your waist so that it does not bunch up when you are sitting on the bike. However, I also wear my jacket when I am off the bike so, like you, I like it a little longer. I also like my jacket slightly loose so that I can layer under it if necessary and have had no problem with them puffing out at speed or flapping in the wind if the jacket has very good heavy leather, like Vanson or Langlitz.
If you are willing to pay the price you can get an excellent jacket made to your measurements at Langlitz Leathers. There are other places also that are slightly cheaper.
If you are over 6" you probably need a long. +1 on Fox Creek. They have big and tall sizes in stock and would send you one with no obligation to keep it, for trying on.
If you're 6'3", you're gonna need the "Tall" size. Depending on the cut, I fall between L & XL, and sometimes "Tall". Most places will let you return something if you order the wrong size.
