Nah--this won't work. It will only provide extra heat until the motor seizes up.

All OK ideas. But it looks like I am just going to have to tuff it out until the snow sticks.

If you want to stay warm riding in those temps you need to take your shoes off. Put your left foot up on the primary and slide your right foot in close to the cam chest. The heat from the primary will keep your left foot warm and the heat from the exhaust header will keep your right foot warm. Once your feet are warm you'll be good to go.
