Thanks for everyones help. I have just purchased my first "harley". It is a custom that looks just like a fat boy. Everything on it is harley except the frame. It is licenced as a custom. The question i have is i am not sure on the motor. I am not familiar enough with harley to tell buy looking at it what it is. It is suppose to be a 2ooo model year which i beleive would make it a TC88 but being a custom i am not sure on the motor. I found a Number on the left crank case it is as follows "BKLX919345" Is there a easy way to tell if it is a evo or a tc just by looking.
I got some pics. I think evo from what i can tell which isnt much. If so i guess the 2000 softail harley service manual is not going to be much help. lol
thanks for any info. Crank
