Warming up on cold days
Is it alright to leave my '08 Fat Bob on the kick stand while it warms up or should I stand it upright? Will the lean angle not allow it to lubricate properly? When it drops into the 40's I like to let it idle for a minute or two and it is more convenient to start it up and then start putting the gear on.

It'll lubricate just fine, all day long, on the kickstand.
For safety reasons, you might want to consider laying it on it's side while it warms up, keeps the wheels off the ground in case you knock it into gear.

Look at your oil pressure gauge. At a low speed cold motor has little to no oil pressure till you get the oil warmed up and some RPM"S. All day on the kickstand is push it a little bit to much bad info

Holly Chit................Wonder if those racers on oval tracks worry about lubrication while leaning in the turns..

On really cold days, I find that sitting on the bike, starting it and immediately twisting the throttle wide open and holding it there for a couple minutes builds oil pressure and warms the bike up quickly so I can then shut it down to put on my fingerless gloves and assless chaps and not worry about oil starvation.

BMW car people suggest driving away pretty much right away but at low rpm and light throttle. The engines warm up faster which they feel is the key to long life.
Now for us I have read that this sort of thing with a Harley might create oil leaks of the cyl base gasket if the cyl heats alot faster than the crank case. I have no idea if this is true but I do let the engine idle while doing up my chin strap and putting gloves on etc.
