I have a 2007 streetbob i have detachable saddlebags on it now,i bought a detachable solo rack for it my dealer said i needed the kit 53961-06A
to mount both at same time. This was not true as the kit i already have on it is the same as the one i just purchased. Can anyone please tell me which kit i would need. Thanks You
I am i new member so i hope i posted in the right place
Welcome to the forums, nice to see another Street Bob. Sorry i can,t help with the part number, but you will probably get a better response on the Dyna section forum.
Best of luck
seems like the dealer is correct. the number is for the detachable backrest. They will only mount one apparatus at a time. You would have to stack the existing detach posts for the saddlebags on the outside of the backrest ones to be able to mount both the saddlebags and the backrest. You will probably need to get longer mounting bolts.
