Since the Dark custom bikes seem to be all the rage, I vote for a new FXDX , in all outlaw trim. Tall T bars , 1/4 fairing, black wheels, etc .

1997 Heritage Springer.

I'd retro one, to a cable operated foot clutch, with a police shifter.
BEST of ALL ends of HD's World, IMFUO.
Looks, Styling, Class, Reliability, Ability to go BIG INCH w/o a lot o' hassles, and obviously, IF you throw a side hack on it, EVEN us ol' geezrz, can stay with it, a few more, DECADES !!!!!!

BUT given the fact that FHP reintroduced the knuck to the world, and now S&S owns them, put a 'modern' knuck in it, vs an EVO. FHP built up to a 121" knuck. No longer avail.

Both the FXR and the BadBoy.

Whoever posted, a kicker wouldn't sell, +1.
NO OFFENSE, but IMFU, as "ooze-ual", MOST are too lazy, to kick.
Course, maybe THAT, would help sort the wheat from the chaff.
In reality, I am still blessed, with good knees, good back, AND a weak mind.

Actually, that would probably sell very well. I also think a completely blacked out Bad Boy would too. I know that I would be in line for one.

How bout a twin cam FXR T-sport. That would be the ultimate sport-touring Harley i think. I had actually started gathering the pieces(frame is available) to build one like this in 2004 but wound up buying a new bike instead. Think about it, FXR style and handling with adjustable damping forks and shocks plus quarter fairing and nylon bags. Ahhh. Dream on.

I never really liked the bags on the sport. they needed to make them match the look of the bike a little better imo
