How about Duo-Glide based on a Dyna frame. FL front end, exposed shocks, doesn't look like **** with out the bags and a shakin engine, not that I put much thought into it......
Basically Softail Deluxe tins on a Dyna bike? That was my idea too, a Dyna with the Duo Glide look to it. I even have a post up in the Dyna section right now, asking if it can be done with aftermarket tins. I don't know whether it'd look right with the battery box under the seat instead of an oil pan, but I'd like to see it done.
the new Softail Convertible SHOULD have been a Dyna Custom Convertible, complete with the twin front brakes of the FB.
I'll just bet there's a market out there for a sport touring bike. Not everyone wants a BMW.
In August a group of us met in Goldendale, WA. Frogg was there with his 07 and wouldn't you know it an 06 rolled in with the same color combo. You're right, you don't see them often and we were blessed with two nearly identicle bikes in the same camp ground.
Thanks Ackman. But not completly alike one was ridden by a really good looking fellow and the other guy rode the 06.
