Here are a couple pictures. Had some difficulty reducing the size so I could transfer them. I put several in an album here and that might give a better view if anyone wants to look.
GEICO has estimated $3,300 so far. Probably will go up some after the shop looks it over.
Now all I want to do is get the repairs done and get back on.
This is the second deer I've hit in my life. From the first to this one has been almost 30 years. First on a bike tho. I'm hoping it will be another 29 years before the next and that I do it like the first time. In my truck.
Darn it no. Well, there wasn't enough light for the camera phone to get a pic but truthfully, I didn't think about it at the time. I should have arranged to at least keep the deer but I missed that opportunity too. Oh well, live and learn. Just hope I don't have to go thru a mess like that again.
TY for the well wishes. Yeah I have to keep my humor up. No sense in letting it drag me down. Bike is repairable, my local dealer is excellent and I should be back up on mine and riding real soon. I know I can use my friends bike if I want to get back on in a couple of days but, after riding my Harley I don't want to go back onto a metric. Still, if I get the urge, it is in MY garage for the winter season as a favor to him and he won't object if I really have to.
