Not doubting anyone, but isn't pledge made for cleaning wood?

I use only the best for my baby!

Zaino Bro polish, and detail spray
Use soft fluffy towels (white) to wipe down Polish, and detail spray.
S100 total cleaner and Mr Clean system to wash the bike (have hard water too and this Mr. Clean
works wonders, no spots)!
Use my Cycle Dry blower to blow off any water after a wash.
Mothers polish for chrome
S100 engine Brightener for the engine and all other black finishes

Pledge is great on all painted surfaces for the quick cleaning in-between the serious wash / wax job. And less expensive than those car/bike products to do the quick touch ups. And yes, it is great for the engine as well! And on horizontal surfaces (tank, hard bags, tour pack, etc.) it helps to repel dust. And on my fairing, it lays down a slick surface that makes the bugs easier to clean off the next time....

But I have learned that it isn't the best on the windshield or the mirrors... The streaking from the wax, and whatever else is in it, doesn't quite do the trick that Plexxus does.

And your bike smells so good too!!! [;-)>

Soap and water, sometimes elbow-grease.

I have been using Pledge on my Road King everyday and have had no problems with build up, but I do wash with soap and water everyday as well. I use an electric blower to get rid of majority of water in hard to reach areas, then towel off. The lemon Pledge seems to work well on all surfaces as long as I flip the cotton cloth over and buff the surface (kinda like waxing). Very pleased with outcome so far. Seems to last longer than Armor All on plastic surfaces and doesn't make oily looking run marks if it gets wet. Bugs also come off windshield with no effort at all, as long as there was a "base coat" of Pledge to begin with.

Yup, I use it too. HDWG turned me onto it when I was in Indy. Great stuff. I use it on all my chrome, paint, and the windshield.

Amazing how many basic household products can keep a bike shining....

I use a swifter for minor dust, Mr. Clean Magic eraser for the white walls, and now pledge....
