Default Everyday

Seems that everyday someone proves to me how ignorant or reckless people can be. Yesterday evening while waiting to pull onto the main highway. I had to wait on a truck with a trailer to pass by and then I pulled onto the highway behind it. As the trailer went by I observed a custom paint job on the tins of this HD. They were hauling this HD on a flat bed trailer with a wooden floor. At the next red light I was looking at one of only two tie down straps they had on the bike. It was actually slack. The strap on the throttle side was loose. The kickstand was down and the strap on the kickstand side was tight. There are so many things wrong with the way they secured that bike. When I see something like that it makes me wonder if the owner doesn't care? Doesn't know? Or is too lazy to work at securing his bike right.

He probably made it all the way too. Now you take your time and do it right and something happens. Just doesn't seem fair that the morons always get away with it.

Too bad you couldn't have got along side him and let him know his tie-down was loose. I'd bet he wasn't aware of it. Nobody wants to lose a bike.

Saw a guy hauling a Harley in a pick-up one day and as he hit the brakes the bike would roll forward a little and as he hit the gas it would roll back and hit the tailgate. Watched another guy in a pick-up take off from a stop light and the Quad in the bed didn't. Rolled right out into the street barely missing the car behind him.
