No, because this is a Google search only on complaints. If you did this for any manufacturer it would yield similar results, even for the best. Plus, it is well know that few people ever documents the positive side of consumer experience whereas the negative is heavily documented.
The positive side of consumer response is only shown by repeat sales and consumer support.

One thing I have to add is 99% of complaints are caused by the dealers **** poor service not by the manufacture. Most of these dealers won't go out of their way to take care of the customer. I think most people generalize when they complain and just say Harley sucks as apposed to bitching about the dealer. Another thing is the dealer will use Harley as the scape goat. I have seen it in the John Deere dealership I used to work at, they don't file the paperwork properly, warranty is denied so pass it on to the customer and say Deere rejected it. Just in-experience, lazy don't give-a-******** we are stuck dealing with!
Hum... it does look like most of the complaints were about Harley as a manufacturer, and not dealerships. But, I do agree that it would be hard to Google on good feedback and find anything. It does go to show you that word of mouth can be good or bad advertising for any company.
A lot of new owners are from the off shore muti cylinder engine variety where smoothness is the goal. Complaints about vibrations on a Harley. Or concerns about the lack of horsepower. Or this and that. When I moved into the Harley fold I knew what to expect and what not to expect. Dealers, if I don't get the service that is reasonable then I don't go back until they change hands, most will. This site can be construed on any vehicle or product made by man. What would really concern me is flying on the space shuttle, those are built by the lowest bidder.
I dunno. The owner of the '08 Heritage that can't reach the kickstand and he's 6'2"? I'm 5'7" and I have no problem. Lots of complaining about heat. Several on the Heritage. I don't have any problem. One guys thigh got burned. Try wearing jeans when you ride? I'm sure there's plenty of legitimate complaints but lots of whiners also. This is my 3rd Harley and I've never had any problems.
I would agree.....people tend to complain more often than compliment.
And as pointed out...look at the nature of the complaints. Most of the complaints that I have heard about H-Ds reflect on the very nature of the beast, or unrealistic expectations on H-D products.

One of the complaints had to do with Harley accessories being made in China. The MoCo is saving money having stuff produced there. They are NOT passing that savings on to you. How does that make you feel? Is that what you knew to expect? How about the crankshafts with excessive runout. Did you expect the Moco to change the maximum allowable crankshaft runout specification to a specification to allow more runout/vibration. This was done so the MoCo could reject exessive vibration warranty claims. I can understand you knew they vibrate, but is that what you expected. Nothing like a 20 thousand dollar paint shaker on wheels.
A dealer has to screw alot of customers before HD will step in and pull the franchise...most disappear for other reasons.
A friend of mine worked for a company that did contract work for both the Govt. and NASA...Lowest bidder does NOT equal cheap...since when has our Govt. been budget conscience?

Complain as much as you like. I hope the folks who lodge these complaints find solutions to make there experience better. Not all dealers run the same way. However, I must add that the Barnes and Trev dealerships here in Vancouver British Columbia are the best bunch of folks I have ever dealt with. I'm sure there are many more great dealers too.
Barnes in Langley and Port Coquitlam!...luv you guys!
