I've gotten motorcycle tires as low as $100. and as much as $450. . . .
That's why I mentioned snagging a pair.
I'm not sure when the shopping spree dealine is, but if you can be patient, pretty sure you could get a pair for that or maybe just a little over $250.
I have a 240mmx18 rear (Performance Machine Phatail kit) and the 21" front
I got both of these Dunlops for $280 out the door.
I had to argue with the guy because he said the 240 wouldn't fit my softail.
I mounted and balanced them myself, as I do with all my motorcycle tires.
My point is that tires let you ride, they wear out, and if you're needing a pair you're screwed, if you have the chance to shop for lower prices, then you're at an advantage.
my experience is that if I wait until I NEED tires I'm stuck paying the big bucks.
just last week FedEx delivered a set of Michelins for the green bike.
snagged them both for $286 - heck of deal . . . . I won't need them until mid season 2010, but guess what, tires will be expensive mid summer. . . prolly like $380
but then again, I ride alot, tires don't last very long if you ride
