Default Green Locktite...how to remove?

The back bolt on my sporty's gas tank seems to have green locktite applied to it.
Does anybody know of a way to un-locktite it?
Ive heard that heating it might work but its a painted area so putting a flame to it is not really a option.
Appreciate any help on this.

If worse comes to worse, you should be able to get a jig saw in there and cut the bolt off. Then buy a new $2 nut and bolt....

Try a hair dryer or heat gun. That should be enough to soften the loc tite.

According to the Loctite site...

Apply heat, and remove.

I've always heard 300° to 400° will do fine.

I used this stuff on some T45 torx tip bolts that we're put in by some McCo gorillas at the factory....with gobs of white HD locktite. I literally twisted 6 tips like licorice, then I tried this stuff (recommended by tool shop I was purchasing more torx tips....said their mechanics swore by it). Worked for me, after I let it penetrate for about 2 hours, with repeated applications....

Loctite Green is the softest/mildest of the three....A little heat applied to the fitting is all that is needed.

Dang, I never had a problem wrenching off a locktited fastener.
