A motorcyclist was killed Sunday when he crashed into a wall and fell 30 feet down an embankment, police say.
The driver, 41-year-old Max Aragon, was driving west on Grand Avenue in Phoenix, approaching 27th Avenue, when he apparently hit the cement wall on the off-ramp and then fell about 30 feet, said Officer James Holmes, a police spokesperson.
The motorcycle kept going after Aragon was thrown off. The 2005 black Harley Davidson was found on the off-ramp about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
The motorcycle was impounded. Police searched the area and initially didn't find a body, Holmes said. A homeless man reportedly found the body around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, about 500 feet from where the motorcycle came to a stop.
"There are no indications of hit and run or other vehicles involved," Holmes said.
Phoenix police are still investigating the collision.

500' from the motorcycle? They really went out of their way to conduct a search. I normally am not for bashing cops, but this is just laziness on their part. He might have laid there for awhile before dying.

Especially when the bike showed an obviously strong indications of a collision.
500 Feet away from the bike. Poor dude probably laid there for hours screaming for help at the top of his lungs before passing away. Cops probably thought he walked away and went on another prostitution call sinse it was 27th and Grand area.
