Default For you guys installing rigid sideplates

for your sissybar. This will make it a lot easier.

Slot out the rear opening so all you have to do is loosen the rear bolt that holds the turnsig and drop the plate into position without taking that PITA bolt all the way out.

I have seen the front bolt hole slotted to the end and the rear bolt slotted towards the bottom. Makes a simple "semi" quick detachable.

Thanks,will probably do that too. Didn't think of slottin to front,I was thinkin an L from the bottom which would be a lot more trouble.

Just laid it out with a straight edge and a sharpee,then stuck it in the vise between two pieces of wood,started the cut with a 3corner file and finished with a hacksaw. Sprayed some black paint on a qtip and coated the cuts and that was it. Stuff cuts real easy.
