Default Catalytic Convert on 2010 FXD?

Trying to find out if my 2010 Super Glide has a catalytic converter...I don't live in Europe or California. I have the shop manual, and the shop parts manual for the bike, but I don't see anything about a header or muffler enclosed cat converter. Of course, I'm damn well hoping it doesn't. I posted the same question in the Dyna forum, and a fair number of people have looked at it, but no replies....maybe it's too new a question.

If you're thinking of different pipes and where you live has no emission standards for bikes, I would'nt worry about it. When I lived in NJ 15 yrs ago all motor vehicles had to go thru emission test, if you didn't pass you had to shows receipts that you spent at least 80 bucks to get it to pass, if it still didn't then they gave you a waiver and your plates. But you had to do that every year, eventually they figured it would pass. Ask the dealer.

There's no emission standard for bikes where I live, but I was more worried about what I've heard about bikes with catalytic converters running very hot due to the lean fuel mix necessary to meet EPA standards....and also how it would complicate aftermarket pipes, headers, sensors, and remapping,.....a bunch of stuff I know nothing about. I'll be asking the dealer too.

Default Cats

Not sure about the '10's but my '09 has the cats in the muffs which are stored in a cabinet in my garage. Switchin' slip ons is easier that changin' the full exhaust system for sure.
