Keep it and ride it, its not gonna go down in value and like nscoyote said up in our neck of the woods a harley that runs is worth a lot of money
You didn't mention how much you got in it. If you got it cheap, you could do anything with it. get it running, throw on knobbies, do back flips, extend swingarm, hill climb. Stud the tires, ice race, on and on. Currently looking for one myself cheap to do just that.
sell it up here, regardless of age sportsters are listing between $4000 and $6000. even a beat up 71 that needed a complete rebuidl went for $3500 last month to a buddy of mine
I'm curious. Why would that be? They hard to come by in Canada or something? Wouldn't think there would be that much of a difference in values.

the biggest thign is the name on the tank. and and when guys buy new bikes or upgrade they are 15-50% more for the same new bike in the us. also some guys figure they spent $3k on the bike x numbeer of years ago and put $3k in chrome and upgrades of those years the bike should be worth $6k in there mind.
i wish it worked that way LOL if that was the case i could sell my sporty for $8k and buy the used dyna i been craving. unfortunatly for me it aint economical to sell this sporty, i got almost $8grand in it now includign initial buy cost. i migth get lucky to get $5 grand for it unless i conned some newb into buying my custom chopper for a steal of a deal at X dollars LOL
