Unhappy Heated gear

Recently got two HD heated jackets and two sets of HD heated gloves. Along with those I got a (one) HD "Temp controller". This controller consists of a power wire from the battery connection and two output wires, one with a black band at the inlet and one with a white band at the inlet. The controller has a black dial and a grey dial and a yellow light and a red light between them. There is a 15 amp fuse between the battery and the controller input wire. I wired each jacket to a set of gloves, then connected both sets of jacket and gloves to the Temp controller, one to the white coded wire and one to the black coded wire. Went for a ride and within a few minutes the 15 amp fuse burned out. Put in a new fuse and again within a few minutes it burned out.
Question: Does each set of jacket and gloves need to be wired separately to a controller, or is something else wrong?

Help! It's cold here in Jersey and we're getting too old to ride without heat!

normally.... you'll want to power one set(person) to one controller, and one harness

You have the Dual controller, which will plug into the corresponding plugs on the jacket, and allow you to control the temps of the jacket, and the gloves independantly

Your passenger, should have their own harness, as well as controller

running two jackets, and two pairs of gloves,on one harness, will over load the fuse.

+1 - separate controllers for each rider/passenger. Gloves on one controller ****, jacket/vest on the other.

You've got the answer now, you need two controllers for two riders.
