Last year heard rumors HD was coming out with a Road Glide Ultra? Kind of a reincarnation of the older Tour Glide. So I passed on a new RG waiting for the RG Ultra which was supposed to be released this month.
Was this project shelved because of the economy or ??????? Fill in the blank with your opinion, rumor or commentary.
I surely do hope that it comes out this winter. I have a good friend that has a '95 (I think it is) Tour Glide, and he has been hoping for a new one for YEARS now. He's still holding out for a new "Road Glide Ultra"!
That's a Road Glide Custom - a Street Glide with a shark-nosed fairing - and was introduced at the beginning of the 2010 model year. The Road Glide Ultra would be an Ultra with the shark-nosed fairing.
I don't know what such a bike would be called, however I do believe there is a fair chance that the MOCO will "roll one out" at their winter meeting. ......... Hope so anyway!
