Reminds me of a funny story in my college marketing class. 300 students in this lecture hall, professor welcomed notes at any time passed up to him. One day he was talking on the "pulling" and "sucking" marketing strategies and up comes a note from one of us students. He reads it to himself as usual, ponders it, then says "excellent question" in a serious tone. He proceeds to read us the question, " can the pulling and sucking technique be used simultaneously" which he replies, "most definately". The whole class laughed, but this old geezer of a prof never got it. That was back in 1980 and is the only thing I remember from the class. Just thought I'd share.
My friends had Harley's when I had my '71 Honda 750. I was into speed then and my stock bike beat every sportster. Then I started a career in aviation and I got to work on a radial P&W engine. Long story short, I got a Harley ;ast year because it reminds me of that radial engine, reminds me of bygone days with my friends, and is one classy ride.
when i stared looking to buy my bike idid start with honda shadow, when i visit new york harley idid purchased super glide custom 2009 what a good feeling
I ride a Harley, mostly because that's what I like. Originally, it was because my Hubby bought it for me as a birthday present, 9 yrs ago. I know there are many other kinds of bikes but, it just kinda grew on me. Since I started riding my own, I discovered a passion like I have never experienced before. Harley was my first experience on a big bike. It just stuck.
I'm not one for the image thing .. It's never been about that. That's not why I like Harley. I like the look, the style, the feel and most of all the sound. There are other great bikes out there. Don't get me wrong. I just simply prefer a Harley Davidson. Just do.
