I was thinking after reading a post about a member mowing his lawn and how he pauses when he hears a Harley. What about waving while in your cage?
I've been riding sportbikes for over 20 years. I have always waved at bikes regardless of brand, to me, it's a bond between people that enjoy riding but I honestly don't think I have ever waved to another sportbike rider while in my cage....that was until I bought my Nightrain, I never found myself waving to other Harleys while in my truck.
The wierd part is, they'll usually wave or give me a nod of the head. I've even gone so far as to put a small HD decal in the upper corner of my windshield just so they know I'm a rider too.
Put a few MORE HD stickers on the side of your door and they'll think it's your score of "Kills" with the Hummer!!!
Naw... nothing strange about those habits, guys. I wave or more generally give a wave that turns into a "Thumbs Up" to bikes (generally not crotch rockets), older Porsches, anything with four wheels that's British, even old U.S. Iron (but is has to be good!!!) when I'm driving the car. It's just a way to say "Hello", "nice ___________ (fill in the appropriate vehicle!!!)!!!
I always wave to people in my neighborhood as well! Not enough personal courtesy and sense of community in the world these days... It is my personal war against rudeness and impersonal behaviour!!!
I dont wave while riding. except for out in country and some farmer or kids wave as I go buy.
I wish all you wavers could have seen the waving dummy rear end that car the other day , cause he was to busy looking over at us with his 2 fingers down.

Watch were your going, not at me.[8D]
Good point, if you're not capable of waving, you should be hanging on to the handlebars.
