I am shopping for pipes I will put on my future Street Bob. I am looking for a pipes that will make my bike sound deep and throaty and from what I could read and hear on Youtube, there are a few models that could do it:
- Pythons slip ons
- Khrome Werk slip ons
- Rush slip ons
- Cycle Shack (full system)
Of course these are almost only slip ons because they are more accessible (money wise) and because I have the feeling (correct me if I'm wrong) that full systems are louder and/or do not offer that deep and throaty sound I am looking for - just to make it politically correct, there are some sets from Vance and Hines like the Short Shots that produce a nice sound. I obviously don't know all the pipes that are being produced.
You're all gonna say that videos do not make justice but as of for now, it's the only source I can use (I don't stop bikers that have a bike that sounds good on the street to ask them what pipes they have on).
Here are some links that will give you an idea of how I would like my bike to sound like, and I would appreciate if you could give me your opinions on these pipes or if you know other pipes that provide the same kind of sound.
