Unhappy Storage Advise

I had to undergo shoulder surgery this past week. I will be unable to ride for 6-8 weeks. Can you please share any storage suggestions for this time period. I will put on a trickle charger. Anything else to worry about? Thank you for your help.:

6 to 8 weeks? I wouldn't put it on a trickle charge, but find a tender that turns itself off and on. Maybe a cover. That would be as far as I would go for 2 months

sorry for your surgery - hope everything heals fast and properly. I agree with BennieSG, I'd put it on a tender, throw a sheet over it and walk away for the 2 months.

Treat gas with StaBil and use a Battery Tender or a float type charger.

OK, one time offer. Where do you live? I will come by and ride it for you to keep it charged.

8 weeks isn't that long. Just keep it charged, like others have said. If your tank is full, it will probably be alright. If not, you may need to treat it and fill it with new gas. Good luck on the rehab.

As stated above, battery tender and some fuel stabilizer. It wouldnt hurt to do an oil change. Probably needs it anyway.

Battery Tender is what I recommend.

I just got to take my first ride after 3 months because of surgery and a broken leg. All I did was park it in the garage and be careful not to hit it with anything. After 3 months I pulled it out of the garage and started it right up. Rode until the tank was empty and filled it up with new gas. I wouldn't worry about 2 months of storage. The worst part is having to wash it because of all the dust!
