So, I just got a new job and I was reading the regulations and all and I came across a little something about POV'S, first, ya have to drive a car no older then 5 years old and get this NO TWO WHEELED VEHICLES!!! now keep in mind you show up to the job and park the ride in a designated spot and leave it there for 8 hours.. damn, I guess I continue searching for another job ........
Yeah, there are places like that. I worked for one that had similar rules.
You can ride to work, but could not use it for company business. Like going to a different division to pick something up.
If you were a plant manager or higher, you were not supposed to even own a bike.
A guy I used to work with made it to work riding a snowmobile. He lived 25 miles away and most roads were impassible because of the snow. He still got chewed out. never mind he made it there "to work".
I had never heard of anything like this, but my brother in law just started working for a gas company and he was told motorcycles are not allowed on company parking lot.
My former company had a rule that, as an outside rep, you could not ride a motorcycle to a customer to conduct business. However, people that worked at the manufacturing plants or headquarters could ride motorcycles to work.
Sounds like some rule makers need a wedgie, followed my a melvin, followed by a dirty swirly in an upper decked toilet. That's just wrong...so wrong...
