But this is exactly the sort of ad that would sell a jacket to someone like me . . . In my order of importance . . .
1.) The "Best Riding Jacket isn't actually made for riding . . . . Its for when the rubber 'er leather hits the road. BTW these pictures are really quite impressive under the described conditions . . .
2.) Fit is the next most important thing 'cause that's what Im livin' with day in and day out.
3.) Lookin' good is definitely important . . . but just as definitely . . . it comes in third
4.) Cost . . . they're all spendy. Like Sear and Roebuck Good/Better/Best . . . There's Good/Cheap (CG) @ $99, Better/Mid Bucks @ $150 and then there's Best AKA "Lots" ie H-D, Langlitz, Fox, Vanson et al lets all face facts . . . they're all in the "Lots"" category at least as far as I'm concerned . . . in the end I suppose that Im Lots kind of rider when it comes to considering my personal collar bone and Road Rash on my bod . . .

Same accident,
Wearing the FXRG Nylon Overpants,
Picture shows impact in left knee area where a gravel chip penetrated the nylon,
If not for the CE armor in that area my knee cap would have been severely injured,
Slide damage to the pants was noticeable but not very ragged,
Maybe, but if you have to suit up like an astronaut to ride, why not just drive a car?
I wear Kevlar and I can wear any type Poser clothes they make. I have light armor built into my riding clothes like jackets and jeans as riding gear not to Poser queens or Valley Girl clothes.
