I had fun both building and riding it. I remember a harley guy waving one day and he looked back so hard after I went by he almost ran off the road. Usually you get a WTF is that. It is an attention getter at rides and get togethers. I never thought much of selling it because it is so much fun to ride. I need to finish it soon. I want to paint the wheels black. There is too much red on it.

The Harley dealership here in Alabama that does the Riders Edge Program does not use Harley bikes. They use Honda Rebels. My Wife took the course, so they will use other bikes.
There is only one certified RE program in the State of Alabama in Huntsville. They use the Blast. If they aren't their program will be decertified. If it was anywhere else in Alabama it wasn't a legit Rider's Edge Program and they may risk loosing their dealership if they are claiming it is.

I dont see any issue with them using rebels, they are too small for most people, underpowered, and so what if they get dropped....I would rather see a rebel get dropped than a Harley. So now that buell is history with HD, what are the HD dealers going to use? I will tell you, something low power, small and cheap as hell. Surely wont be a Street Glide or anything. I still believe if you learn on a big bike, you can ride anything. I did this, first bike was 700 pounds. Second was 350#, Third 800+ Electra Glide.
