replace a socket
can i replace the 1157 socket in the stock tail/brake light mount? if so how do i do that without destroying the mount, and where can i find a new socket. on the verge of soldering the damn wires to the freaking contacts!

I've done the soldering wires to the contacts thing. It worked for a couple years. I ended up taking the contacts and short length of wire from a trailer taillight and spliced the wire.
