I would love to have a stretched out chopper, but price and the fact that I don't believe they are an everyday rider would stop me from getting one. However, I think I would build a big bear chopper if givin the chance.
Thanks for everyones opinion. The bike was $34k+.The interest was going to be over 8k.I didn't even consider it.I was just killing time finishing my beer.Someone mentioned do it if you want it or something like that and I agree.Iknow a guy with 3 boats, all with payments. The way I see it, he is'nt borrowing from me to pay his bills so why the hell should I care?I also read someone wrote it has'nt been chopped, it ain't a chopper.I agree with that too.The word "chopper" wasn't a look, but what you did to get the "look".If I were to ever buy one of these bikes, I would definetly get a used one. Thanks again for all the input, the more I read themore I learn.
What do you think it would be worth in nine years. I'll stick with my Harley. I have a pretty good idea what it will be worth when it's nine years old.

34k at 4.9% over 9 years? That would be like $550 a month or so for 5 years at the same interest rate (basically nothing down)...
Did a really long loan on my husbands work van (like 8 yrs.), it was the first vehicle we had bought over $20k and were scared to death at the time -- yes it was a long time ago . It was a dumb move. I refinanced after 3 years for a lower interest rate and dropped 3 years off the loan for just about $25 added to the payment would have dropped more time if I could have afforded it.
The longer the loan the more upside down you are for a longer period also the more interest you pay. On average for a 5 year loan it will take you 3 years to hit trade-in value for your cage if you keep it in perfect condition. Just think about how long it would take to hit that if you had a 9 year loan?
Just food for thought...If it's what you realllllllllly want....go for it
