It all depends on the situation. I like the full tank philosophy for moisture dispensation, but not always easy to fuel before going home. If my tanks way low, I do go out of the way to fill just in case I have no time to do so when I head out next time.

Like to fill up just before arriving at home but.........been on a couple of long hauls (for me anyways)......and if the *** is sore, just want to get home, no stops.

I usually just fill mine as it needs it, I seldom let it get below half a tank.

I typically do especially if I'm riding more than an hour to help keep water out of the system since all the gas stations put ethanol in the gas.

Have a gas station one mile from home and always like to start with a full tank so fill up on the way home after a ride. Of course, if I have only ridden about 10 or 20 miles then I don't top it off but I seldom get on my bike and go less than 50 or 60 miles. Usually go at least 100 miles every time I ride. It's hard to cut a ride short.

Depends on the time of year. If it's winter and I get get a ride in. Then I wont fill up before going home, in case it starts snowing and thats the last ride for the season. I would prefer to not have a full tank while stored. The rest of the year I fill up when I feel like it.
