I have always spent more time on the bike than anything else but over the last few years I have just about quit driving my pickup.
Just went out and checked the odometers on my three rides that ive owned since they were new, 2008 x-bones= 15,202mi. 2007 peterbilt 379 heavy haul= 257,089mi. 2008 ram 2500= 983mi.
Ive seriously considered selling my pickup many times but never have so if you cut out the peterbilt I would say im ALMOST a full time rider.
I have only done it for about 9 months way back in the 70's when some jerkoff wrecked my car and left the scene leaving me with only the bike.
I will never do it again unless I live on some South Pacific island where the weather is perfect 99% of the time. Not fun here.
I ride year round, but I have a couple of other vehicles. I some times have to carry a lot of heavy stuff - more than I could possibly fit or carry on the bike, so, I do use the Jeep pretty regularly, but, only when I have to.
my biek is my only vehicle, if i need to take the kids somewhere if its safe to ride i take my biek and my mom takes the kids in her car and meets me there. if it aint safe to ride then i get relegated to the passenger seat of my moms car * extemely hazordous to me menta lsanity when she is driving*
