As a part of a bike shop that prides itself on it's customer service I could not imagine not answering the phone. As we used to say in tele sales when the phone rang "Money calling!" Either way, I know what it is like to be swamped and have time for nothing but what is sitting right in front of you as everyday is like that for me. I am sure when they get a chance they will get on here and respond. That is the great thing about the forum. Everyone get's to speak their mind and explain. I am not so quick to judge a company based on one thread. I prefer to use personal experience with that company as a meter regardless of what everyone else has experienced.

I didn't see the other post when I posted mine, and maybe you missed it when I said that I am not trying to bash them......but, it has been over a week of constant calling and emailing with no answer, not once has a person answered the phone. Is it unreasonable to be concerned? I mean I can understand being busy, but, if your not anwering your phone how do you stay in business? Then don't know if I'm calling about an order or placing a new one. I am will to be patient, but, fact is I was going to add some things to my 650.00 order and I couldn't even do that. I guess I'll have to call elsewhere for that.
There are a lot of companies that prefer to do sales over the net mainly as it gives them a lot more time to do other things that need to be done at the same time. I had one experience with a company that "had no phone" that drove me absolutely crazy. there was a billing issue and I was unable to call and talk to someone directly. For me that was the end of companies that I cannot get a hold of on the phone.
I also heard good things about them. I have also heard they are a pain in the @ss to get in contact with.
So I decided to go with them form my bars. I tried emailing them over and over and even tried to call to ask a few question. No answer. I am a sucker for puinshment or just a cheap SOB but I placed and order anyway. They do have the best deal on bars. I got them pretty quick but they sent the wrong ones or did not advertise them properly. Either way I try tried to call them and nothing!!!!! I decided to just keep them cuz I end up loving them.
Communication for sure they are lacking but I doubt very seriously that you will not get your stuff. I have never heard of them ripping someone off.

Aaahh yes, the old Fire & Forget sales policy. Once the product goes down range, it ain't their problem any more...
Update.....I finally got ahold of someone at HCC. It took a week of trying...long story short....they are waiting on brake cables and should get some next week sometime and then ship my bars out. So all told I'm looking at about 3 weeks total wait time.
