One bad apple with colors on in a go-go bar gets me moving on. unless I'm with 2 or 3 friends. It's not the bikes . Its the riders that can scare other riders that give us the bad name.
After 37 of riding I never owned a Harley cause I didn't like them, always wanted the speed/handling of sport bikes. Then I started to hate the image of the "Harley Culture" and liked them even less. Now some of the idiot stunters/sport bike riders annoy me even more. You know, the ones that ride stand up wheelies with no shirt or helmet and the baggy pants.
I now own a Harley. It's sporty enough and has enough power to keep me happy, but I'm not a "Harley Guy" Guess I'm getting old and ride for the fun of it now and don't really like being labeled one way or the other. I like Harley and sportbikes. I think the majority of motorcycle riders ride for fun,not for the image or to be cool.
