Some people hate Fords. Some people hate the Cubs. Some people hate Brocolli.
Some people hate New Jersey. I do not get overly excited because you like blondes over red heads....so don't get too pissed when a Ninja rider can not see why you ride a slow assed Harley. I have one of the slowest harleys of anyone I know. I don't question the Honda Rebel rider when they pull up along side of me at a light.
I figure, if you are driving a Chevy, rooting for the Cardinals, eating beef, living in Pennsylvania...you know what you are doing.
If you hate something I am riding....or may be doing......I think you are wasting too much time on me. Where is the problem?
Kat Williams said it best. He said something to the effect of thank God for haters. You want haters. If there isn't anyone out there that hates you, you're not doin' somethin' right. They hate you because they're jealous of some aspect of what you're doin', so keep on doin' it.
That said, for every hater I run into, I run into 50 that express admiration for me and my ol' Harley.
And finally, there's a very thin line there sometimes. I've got a buddy that rides a Victory. He likes Harleys, but just also wants to do something to set himself apart from what he considers to be the crowd. That's attitude man! That's a big part of what gave Harley the rep it has, and I admire my buddy's drive for independence no matter where it takes him.

I have ridden all kinds of motorcycles. A friend of mine who owns a whole bunch of motorcycles has a BMW, told me "take it for a ride and you will sell your Harley". Well I drove it, with an open mind!!! It was uncomfortable, didn't impress me one bit! I like my Harley and would buy another down the road!!!! Without blowing this into another topic, I like BUYING AMERICAN!!! Yes even though some parts are imported!!! And as for pirate dressing, sidewalk commandos I could care less, if some dork wants to ride in shorts, sandles, and a flower shirt -- good for you just don't hang around me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
