I am taking my first long road trip. Can anyone tell me what tool sizes to take? I am already packing duct tape, a tire repair kit, screw drivers, allen wrenches, but do not what size sae wrenches to pack. Any other items I should pack?

I have the tool kit that came with my bike. I'm not sure what size wrenches are in it, but if I were you I would just get a small box end wrench set and a small ratchet set to bring. Also don't forget the torx27 allen bit as there are a lot of those little suckers on the bike.

Generic tools to fix simple things. Flat tires seem to be the main issue lots of times.......just a repair kit for that (and an air pump).

Other than those, a credit card and cell phone.

I've never heard anyone unsatisfied with the WindZone toolkits...I know I really like mine and its had every tool I've needed or anyone I've ridden with that has had a minor breakdown.

I've seen these EK-1hd kits on ebay for a buy it now price of $49.00...you couldn't go assemble the tools in this kit for that...then add the nice tool roll...its a deal that can't be beat.

I have the Outback'r tool from CruzTools. Works great. You can actually do most all your maintenance with this tool and it has 13 tools in one. about 4 inches long. Go to J&P Cycles catalog. About $20.00. here's the link.
