fuel management, - hell if I know
so I just got some bad *** pipes on my 07 Sb (v&h 2 into 2 big radius). and I have searched the threads for PCIII & V, and fuelpack, and 'something'commander and whatever.. but I would like to see the benefits and costs of each... ie a comparison.
Looking to buy an AN big sucker, and am obviously going to need some fuel management. I am wary about going to the dealer for the download, as many have indicated that the outcome is... less than impressive.
and many of you tote the importance of doing it yourself, if choosing your own 'map' or whatever.
so, please, can y'all explain to me:
1) how does fuel management work?
2) what are the comparisons of the fuel management systems out there?
3) I am a kind of 'do it myself', so what might I be looking for?
any links to other threads are welcome, as the search in this forum does not always bring up exact results.
As always, appreciate all advice, and insight, as this site is why i've been able to get my bike knowledge to where it's at. B4 this site, i've never taken apart a garage door opener.. lol.. now i use my high beams to open my garage! thanks guys.
