Default Tail Light Bulb
Is the tail light bulb an item I can get at a local auto supply or strictly at HD. HD is 30 minutes away, whereas an auto supply is 5.

I don't know if the auto parts store has the heavy duty bulb with the extra filament support but I have bought those better bulbs at a HD dealer. Standard bulbs are okay in a pinch but I prefer the better heavy duty bulbs.

Local supply house bulb will work. I just hopefully upgraded to an LED rear bulb. Mines not as bright as some I've seen though. I'm goin shopping for a better LED

Must use HD bulb, or it will void warranty.

Just plop in an 1157. Specs are almost identical, and they last.

Buy the heavy duty blubs wherever you can find them !!!
I switched over to LEDS all around !!!
