I put my sporty in my house just once this past winter and it was not fun. I have like 26" drag bars and still had to jimmy them side to side a bit. I say get a larger door or find a better place to keep the bike. bikes are not made to go through people door LOL!

Move to a place with a garage.

I brought my bike in the house once through the front door and the only way was to wiggle and finagle it through. No matter what angle you go at, you still are wider than the door at the handlebars.

I tried this once(go in the front door) and could never get it to work. Only way mine would fit if I ever had to do this would be around the back through the sliding glass door...my luck I'd drop it in the pool though.

Put hinges on one of the screen panels that are wider than the door and then a closer on the opposing jamb effectively making a custom door for your bike. If you put them on the inside where they are not visible outside no one will be the wiser. To reinforce the screen panel frame use some aluminum channel and get a prefabricated hinge. Then 2 closers to make it hold tight and zama...custom bike door.

We (the wife and I) would lean THE DYNA to the left almost to 45 degrees till it got past the right handle bars. Then to the right to get it past the left bars. It sucked because I worried the whole time that maybe that the wife wasn’t strong enough to help me up right it and we would drop her... Grant it we only did this for winter storage in the living room, the third year we rented a storage unit. Hope this helps.

The problem is that your going too slow, or your not putting enough butter/grease on the door frame.
Next time try using more slippery stuff and get the bike up to 50 or 60mph.
It should go in real easy then.
