I hit a pot hole on the way into work this morning and blew out a fork seal, at least they are calling for rain all weekend.
I have a 96 sportster and have not had to rebuild the forks yet, are there going to be any surprises in store for me I should know about before hand? I know with all of the true "Bikers" on this site ther should be a lot of knowledge around here. Thanks.
If they are leaking let put a new seal it. I hit 100 pot holes going to work everyday. And yes my fork seal leak from time to time. It's going to happen.
The seal is at the top of the fork nut get loose will leak real bad. Yes it's pain to get to on my Road Glide. The seal is couple dollar plus you fork oil at the right amount.
