Was looking thru some pics of a ride I took last year from ATL to my buddies home in the Raleigh NC area. It reminded me of how bad my stock seat on the RKC was. It was so bad I did not look forward to my ride back home. We went to the Harley dealer and I wound up buying the Saddleman gel pad which only helped a little but was better than the stock seat. While at the dealer an older gentleman and his wife showed me their home made air ride system shown in the pic. He used a wheelbarrow tire with just enough air for the pressure points to shift around. His wife made the cover to put it in. They said it cost a lot less than the $100.00 I spent for the gel pad and cheaper than a new seat. Of i have since put a Sundowner on which I am very happy with.
I thought that I'd seen it all, now I have, but then again if it works for you, go for it. Just seems like it would set you higher up than I normally care to be on a bike. my .02.

Anyone done something similar?
I hope it cost about $95 less then the $100 you spent
