This morning was my first ride of the year. I was on my way to work, temp was around 46 degrees, Canadian Geese, Sandhill Cranes flying overhead, Mama Moose and Calf hanging out in a nearby swamp. My ride to work is 41 miles, everything was going good. The last 15 miles is on the Highway that you have to ride on if you are going to the Canada and on to the Lower 48. I was rounding the last corner before I would be turning so I hit the blinker. I then began to slow down and begin my turn, thats when things went wrong! The handlebars refused to turn to the left, I kept trying with all my might but still could not get them to turn. I grabbed the left side with both hands and still nothing, then it hit me.....My bike did not want to go to the Prison where I work! I then rubbed the tank on the right side and promissed that I would go for a spin on my lunch hour. The bike then began its turn as though nothing was wrong. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
When I was in school (many moons ago) my friend and I would ride in. Well more times than not, we would look at each other and keep on riding. I am surprised either one of us got out of high school.
Hell my brand new car has that issue most of the time LOL! I'm riding to work tomorrow and I'm sure my bike is not going to steer right. I'll tell you what-when leaving work the car and the bikes runs better then ever LOL!
