I have been running the beads in the front tire for 10K miles and everything seems fine. No vibration to speak off, no better or no worse than the external weights. Just recently put them in the rear as well. I mount my own tires and they make the job a little easier. I just dump the beads in the tire and than mount it, much easier than trying to feed them through the valve stem.
