They're all good, you'd have to put in more specifics as to what constituites the best motor. Just like some like chevvies, some like fords, you'll find advocates of all hd motors. Personally I like my evo more than my ironhead.

I'd say the newest/most current is the "best". Just for the simple fact that the Moco is constantly improving them for reliability.
Yeah right. It's your fantasy. The EVOs were more reliable. There were EVO bottom ends with over 400,000 miles on them. Cranks on the new ones are a weak link and a lot worse then older twin cam cranks.
